Juho Lipponen is Head of the Carbon Capture and Storage Unit at the International Energy Agency. He manages a team of six specialists analysing various aspects of CCS, from technical and economic issues to policies, incentives and regulatory frameworks. Prior to joining the IEA, Mr Lipponen worked for the European power industry federation, Eurelectric, as Head of the Energy Policy and Power Production Unit. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Turku University in Finland. He also studied business economics at the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration.
