Danielle Ballivet-Tkatchenko is em. CNRS reseach director at the Institute of Molecular Chemistry (CNRS-University of Burgundy) in Dijon.
Her main research interest covers homogeneous & heterogeneous catalysis, kinetics, and structure-activity correlations. Her research projects were conducted at IRC-Lyon, GRL-Lacq, LCC-Toulouse, and LSEO-Dijon leading to seminal contributions to acid-catalyzed reactions with zeolites, and cationic organometallic catalysts.
In the early 1980’s, the CO2-related projects started in collaboration with SNPE, aiming at electrocatalytic reduction and acido-basic reactions. Currently, they are run under EU and national cooperation.
Danielle acts also as the chair of the next International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization (ICCDU XI) to be held in 2011 in Dijon-France (June 27-30).
